l&#8217;assicurazione del terminale di esportazione di GNL<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (gas naturale liquefatto) <\/span><b>Calcasieu Pass<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Stati Uniti), nonch\u00e9 di escludere definitivamente i terminali di GNL dalle loro direttive.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le tre compagnie di assicurazione si sono <\/span><b>impegnate a raggiungere la neutralit\u00e0 climatica entro il 2050.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> [1, 2, 3]\u00a0 Chiediamo loro di prendere sul serio questa promessa e di non sostenere pi\u00f9 l&#8217;espansione dei combustibili fossili!\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Assicurare tali impianti di GNL \u00e8 infatti un&#8217;assurdit\u00e0 dal punto di vista climatico, poich\u00e9 il gas \u201cnaturale\u201d in realt\u00e0 non ha nulla di naturale e rappresenta invece una seria minaccia per il clima. [4]\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Oltre all&#8217;impatto sul clima, il terminale di gas liquefatto di Calcasieu Pass \u00e8 soprattutto <\/span><b>un disastro per la comunit\u00e0 locale<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, che denuncia l&#8217;inquinamento dell&#8217;aria, che li avrebbe fatti ammalare, le vibrazioni delle macchine che scuotono l&#8217;intera regione, l&#8217;inquinamento dell&#8217;acqua e la distruzione delle zone di pesca tradizionali. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">[5]<\/span><\/p><p><br \/><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Quindi ci siamo mobilitati\/e! Il 14 marzo 2025 scadeva il contratto assicurativo di Calcasieu Pass. La petizione \u00e8 stata lanciata la sera del 12 marzo 2025 e <\/span><b>in sole 24 ore pi\u00f9 di 11\u2019000 persone<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> hanno espresso la loro disapprovazione per il rinnovo. Swiss Re, Zurich e Helvetia sono state informate delle nostre richieste. Non resta che sperare che i loro dirigenti non chiudano gli occhi di fronte all&#8217;assurdit\u00e0 di assicurare un progetto del genere.
